Professor Geoffrey Wood is Dean and Professor of International Business at Essex Business School. He has been Professor of International Business at the Business School of the University of Warwick in the UK, Professor and Associate Dean at the School of Management at the University of Sheffield in the UK, Professor and Research Director at the Business School of Middlesex University in the UK. Geoffrey Wood is a member of the UK Academy of Social Sciences and a member of the British Academy of Management (BAM). He is the Editor in Chief of the British Journal of Management, which is the official scientific journal of the British Academy of Business Administration (BAM). He is also the Associate Editor of the Academy of Management Perspectives journal, published by the US Academy of Business Administration, and the Annals of Corporate Governance. Finally, he is the publisher of the Chartered ABS Journal Ranking list, and a member of the ABDC Journal Guide Evaluation Committee.
