The Department of Economics offers Postgraduate Programs in Economics, Business Administration and Logistics & Supply Chain Management. The Department offers, in collaboration with other Departments of AUTh, the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Programs of Tourism and Regional Development, Management and Information Systems, Governance and Regional Growth, Complex Systems and Networks.
The Program aims to promote knowledge, by deepening in Economic Theory and by developing critical thinking for strategic economic policy decisions. It also aims to promote comprehension and application of the advanced quantitative methods related to Economics in economic data and evaluation of the empirical results.
The program aims to promote research and provide training and specialized knowledge to graduates of higher education, as well as to executives of companies and organizations with some previous work experience, who wish to expand their specialization in Business Administration.
The Program provides a comprehensive set of courses that help graduates and business executives to acquire the theoretical background and develop practical skills, necessary for those who wish to pursue a career in the complex business environment and supply systems, but also for those interested to specialize in relevant areas of academic research.
The MSc in Marketing Strategy equips young professionals and recent graduates with the advanced knowledge and skills to become a successful marketing leader of the future. It is an intensive full-time programme where marketing fundamentals intersect with the latest in technology and innovation, and where marketing science is blended with data-driven decision making for business. The programme covers the full marketing spectrum from marketing strategy, communications and branding to market research, digital marketing, social media marketing, and big data marketing analytics.
Students attending this programme will be exposed to a multifaceted perspective of marketing and will acquire analytical and critical skills to help organisations solve problems, identify market opportunities and achieve their full potential. All modules will be taught by academic staff, who have expertise in the areas they teach, while marketing executives will provide the opportunity to gain real life industry perspectives.

The Interdepartmental Program of Postgraduate Studies in Managment and Information Systems of the Departments of Informatics and Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki operates since the academic year 2003-2004. Its goal is the creation of high-level specialized executives in Informatics and Management with deep knowledge and specialization in the field of Information Systems and their use in Management Science.
The program is organized by the Department of Economics in collaboration with the Departments of Mathematics, Biology and Geology of AUTh. The students of the program first acquire the basic mathematical and technical background which they then apply to Knowledge Networks, Bio-Medical Networks and Socio-Economic Networks.

The Program aims to enrich, deepen and expand research and teaching in Economics and Political Science. The program analyses national and supranational systems, the distribution of responsibilities at the administrative levels and the effects of policies pursued on the citizens.
The program is organized by the Department of Economic Sciences in collaboration with the School of Economic and Political Sciences, the Departments of Political Sciences, Journalism and Media and the School Law of AUTH. The aims of the program are the Economic, Political, Legal Aspects of Migration and its management and the provision of high level postgraduate training in the management of mass migration and populations on the move. The purpose of the program is: A) the promotion of scientific knowledge and the satisfaction of the educational, research and development needs of the country in the field of mass immigration and its management. B) the training and familiarization of postgraduate students, executives of civil society and the public sector, in matters of law, international relations, finance and administration, communication and cultural mediation regarding the management of immigration and refugee flows.

The Joint Postgraduate Studies program (J.P.P.S.) “Languages, Communication and Management of Education Services in the modern social, economic and technological environment” was introduced in 2019 and is run by the Schools of French Language and Literature, the School of Philosophy and Education, the School of Economics and the School of German Language and Literature, of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
